Hi everybody, welcome to our Wedding Website. Here you will find details of us, how we met and how Mark Proposed. Please can you use the forms to RSVP and send us food choices. We hope you find it useful and easy to use!
The lovely Karen is a true romantic with many hobbies such as crafting, home improvements and travelling to far off foreign countries. She enjoys time with Mark and together they look after their Cockapoo, Sabre, who can only be described as... a handful!! Since leaving school, Karen has spent many years as a Nursery Nurse which has given her much experience with babies, which is a good thing as she intends on having a big family, she hasn't told Mark yet!! :-)
Mark will be the first to say that he is a very lucky man to be marrying the lovely Karen. But Mark is a catch in his own right.. oh yes honestly!! Mark loves his music and plays two instruments, saxophone and guitar. He plays in an 80s tribute band called Munch and can often be seen on stage locally pelvic thrusting in front of his fans! His main interests are keeping Karen happy (very wise), home improvements, reading, fishing and watching black and white movies.
How they met
Karen and Mark met in April 2004 at a friends 30th Birthday Party. They hit it off instantly as they gazed at each other over a bottle of Gin. They soon realised that they had a lot in common. Both like to travel, listen to live music, however Karen likes smooth romantic songs, whilst Mark loves his 70s and 80s rock. It was a while before they dated, but as we know the best things in life are worth waiting for!!
Mark planned the perfect day on the Norfolk Broads. It was a beautiful day with the sun shining and ducks quacking. He took the boat out into the centre of South Walsham Broad for lunch. The mud weight was thrown overboard as Karen got the picnic ready. The clock was ticking and Mark was running out of time, so he seized the moment when Karen turned away to pick up the flapjacks. He threw himself down on one knee with the engagement ring sitting proudly in his right hand, Karen turned back in shock, crumbs on her face as Mark proposed... She paused... paused some more... then said yes!!!!
Josie and Victor are looking forward to the big day. They wish Karen and Mark their very best wishes and they hope thst Mark enjoys free access to Victors workshop!!
Scarlett has been waiting for this moment as she will look like a princess on the day. We are expecting her to take charge and look to do Karens hair and nails. Good luck Karen :-)
Neil has been best mates with the Groom since they met at University. It's fair to say that Neil, a lovely guy, is a little wild, hence the Groom dreading the Best Mans speech!
Terry is very close to his son and has been there for him throughout lifes ups and downs. He welcomes Karen to the family and is wondering when he will become a grandfather!? :-)
